Woodnotes is opening a showroom with Nikari which will be open all summer until the beginning of September. In the showroom it is possible to experience the products in a space and also do a little shopping and get professional help concerning the products and interior in general.
Nikari is a Finnish company producing high-quality wooden furniture. Founded in 1967, Nikari’s products are made out of certified wood and they last for generations – not only due to their quality, but also for their beautifully subtle and ageless design. Woodnotes was founded in 1987 and combines artistic creativity with advanced technologies using Finnish raw materials: paper and wood.
Both Woodnotes and Nikari are Finnish companies and they also share the same values. They derive energy from respect towards Finnish design legacy and passion towards creating something entirely new. All of the products are made with love: the quality of the work is a matter of honour.
In the temporary showroom, Woodnotes’ and Nikari’s products are being showcased in a way that is relatively new to both of the companies. It enables an excellent opportinity to create a solid space that represents collections and their full potential as a whole. Meeting face to face with actual users of the products, sharing experiences and getting feedback offers a great value to both Woodnotes and Nikari.
The content of the showroom evolves over the summer: in the beginning of the summer novelties presented in the Milan furniture fair will be the stars of the space, midsummer will revolve around smaller items and August entails Helsinki Design Week’s activities. Vistors can come and rest their feet sitting on Nikari’s December chair or on the classic K Chair by Woodnotes and feel the rough Woodwool between their fingertips. The showroom is completed with carefully selected smaller items such as amazing plywood lamps by Finom.
