Eczacıbaşı Building Products Division Innovation Director, Boğaç Şimşir accepted the award from Turkey’s Minister of the Economy, Nihat Zeybekçi, and Minister of Science, Technology and Industry, Faruk Özlü, at the 5th Private Sector R&D Center Summit.
VitrA Innovation Center is located at the Division’s Bozüyük complex in Bilecik. After the ceremony, Minister Özlü visited the VitrA Innovation Center exhibition stand at the summit, which offered visitors a view of VitrA’s innovative products and an opportunity to try out VitreAlity, VitrA’s virtual reality program for bathroom and kitchen spaces.
In a related statement, Innovation Director Şimşir said: “founded in 2011, VitrA Innovation Center quickly became the most successful in its industry by creating a difference through the development of innovative products. Our goal is to achieve international renown for our Center’s innovations. We are aware of the responsibility associated with being the leader in our industry four years in a row and will continue to pursue and develop innovations that add value to the lives of users.”
