valcucine_380At imm Cologne 2016, Valcucine is presenting the last two kitchens designed by Gabriele Centazzo – Genius Loci and Forma Mentis.

Valcucine is dedicated to creating beautiful, durable and sustainable kitchens. Being presented for the first time, Forma Mentis is a kitchen designed for people who like to experience space in a practical, relaxed and friendly manner and who are constantly looking for new ideas, excellent design and quality of detailing. The new modular kitchen system marks the achievement of an aesthetic thought built with strong dedication over time.

Genius Loci is back on the scene after receiving success at Salone del Mobile 2015. It is an island or wall kitchen where the drawer has been given central importance in cooking. Available in two versions, the drawer is angled and projects slightly outward at the bottom in the first model, creating a handle and reflecting light in such a way that highlights its tactile material surfaces and hand-crafted elements. The second version has a more ‘minimalist’ drawer, where it aligns perfectly flush with the kitchen doors.

In order to make the kitchen even more functional and ergonomic, Genius Loci is equipped with Air Logica System, the revolutionary ergonomic back panel that is able to accommodate and conceal, if necessary, all kitchen equipment.
