The new Trussardi Casa collection presented at IMM Cologne 2016 recounts a dynamic and contemporary interior design empowered to convey the family spirit that has always been characteristic of the world Trussardi. Here in lies the evolution of a lifestyle conceived for stylish homes, inspired by Milanese abodes and consistent with the identity expressed by the home collection ever since its début.
A furnishing project curated by architect Carlo Colombo, the collection is characterized by an international elegance, the essence of design, functionality and harmonious combinations of materials and colours. Showcased at the international furnishing fair in Cologne, the collection included the following pieces:
The Relief system, with its sofa and armchair, is now complete with a new bed of clean-cut, unfussy lines. The perfect synthesis of fashion and design, the geometric pattern decorating the headboard is defined by quilted upholstery revisited with a contemporary twist. A stylistic detail inspired by the latest fashion proposals of the Maison. It is presented here with a cream coloured leather upholstery.
Hadel is the new sofa designed to furnish the living area with personality and elegance. The high seat back, forming a continuous line with the armrest, embraces the seat cushions and traces a rounded profile and a slightly outward slanting movement. Perfect for convivial occasions or moments of sheer relaxation, it is presented in a mocha coloured fabric with contrasting steel details on the feet.
Casilia, the slender, young-looking armchair of compact dimensions, eclectically interprets the functional spirit of a project combining comfort and vivacity. Made from solid wengé stained ash, the frame expresses a linear design with curved sections. The armrest is narrower on the internal surface and runs along the seat back to enhance the formal beauty and skilled craftsmanship expressed by this chair. The sartorial detail of deep-button upholstery adds a further note of preciousness to the leather seat.
TOSCO COFFEE AND SIDE TABLE
Two new heights have been added to the Tosco table collection: the purity of expression intrinsic in this project remain unvaried in both the coffee and side table versions. A synthesis of contemporary functionality and stylistic rigour, Tosco stands on a base consisting of three triangular elements made from steel in a brushed bronze finish, arranged in a play of alternating geometric shapes. They support the smoky tempered glass top in a way that confers a sensation of lightness.
A-ROUND ARMCHAIR OUTDOOR
Immediately acclaimed as an icon of the collection, A-Round is the armchair distinguished by an original construction of tubular elements forming its frame. An aesthetic impact of reduced proportions, faithful to the experimental vivacity of Trussardi, creates a pattern of overlapping curves. Developed in the new outdoor version with white or black frame and fabric seat covers in neutral or bright shades.
