The “Talk Space” at Clerkenwell Design Week 2017 will feature a flooring installation by Tarkett and Desso at the event. Desso designer Nina Bailey has designed the Talk Space flooring installation to showcase integrated design with both Tarkett’s smooth flooring and Desso’s carpet tiles.
Desso Fields and Fuse Create carpet tiles have been selected to complement Tarkett’s ID Square planks – combining functionality and creativity with stunning results.
Tarkett and Desso are also inviting visitors to the Clerkenwell showroom to ‘pause for thought’ at this year’s CDW. The packed programme that explores the role interiors, colour, texture and spatial planning play in creating workplace harmony – and wellbeing – based around the theme of ‘Reflections’.
Taking an exposing look at the true wants and needs of the workforce, Tarkett and Desso will challenge the architectural and design community to consider the different – and often conflicting – modes, styles, personalities and preferences of space users: by first encouraging festivalgoers to ‘find themselves’. Multi-talented designers Kia Utzon-Frank and Fay McCaul will capture this theme with an intriguing window installation.
