Masquespacio - ArcoThe Spanish design agency Masquespacio was inspired by the trends popular during the Seventies to design the Arco collection for Houtique. The playful collection of furniture uses round-shaped tubular steel and bright colours to evoke a feel of the 70s.

As the name “Arco” suggests in Spanish, the furniture is made up of different arc shapes that create a funny play of forms, giving an appearance of geometrical and whimsical structures. The collection comprises of a couch, chairs, tables and high stools.

A cold and industrial material like metal is converted to an attractive and emotional design through soft forms with vivid colours. The sunshine yellow tubular metal is paired with powder pink velvet on the seats.

The chairs and sofa are upholstered with high density memory foam, while the table top is made with beech wood. The velvet, produced and commercialised by Houtique adds a touch of warmth to the design, maintaining an authentic aspect.
