Palafitt are hut‐shaped cupboards – a home to store home appliances. Presented by Seletti, these furniture containers are made in MDF and beech wood, decorated with magnetic birds.
Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba is the designer who says, “Everyone dreams while observing a model, maybe because of the small scale, of the synthesis of the details or because you feel like a giant, so like a kid in front of a toy. When I designed Palafitt, I played by imagining that a mobile could evoke that feeling but at the same time having a strong sculptural and elegant connotation. The irony of the magnetized birds that Stefano added (and Seletti) gives a touch of magic. How can you not fantasize every time you open a door?”
Palafitt is a refined and sculptural sideboard, available in two-door and four-door versions. Its unique profile, embellished on the top by magnetic little birds, it resembles a hut on long pillars, conferring an extra touch of magic, able to bring nature into your home.
