Like every year, this year also isaloni has their special section of the exhibition: SaloneSatellite Award. Best designers from around the world get this prestigious award. Here is a glimpse of the announced winners of this year SaloneSatellite Award for their outstanding performances on design.
Cloud Series Lamp, Xubernce Studio (P.R China)
The cloud lamps collection produced with 3d print innovative technology. This award is given to the project concept because it is a new product based on the relationship between the Chinese traditional aesthetic with the ancient content of the Chinese culture.
Dandelion Mirror, Scott Haung kinetic (Taiwan)
Dandelian interactive mirror reacts with facial movements. Friendly technology to improve the daily life was considered by jury.
Balance Pendant, Viktor Legin di Studio Copper (Australia)
Balance Pendant is a lamp collection repositionable with a weight, which become a mobile sculpture. The idea is developing this project with very few elements becoming ornamental piece was taken onto come for award.
Salone del Mobile opened their design ceremony from April 14 and will be at Milan till April 19 and it’s running successfully. Renowned designers from around the world are exhibiting their extraordinary products at one of the world’s leading furniture fair. Visitors are also excited to get a look of new designs and to have an opportunity to communicate with renowned designers.
