RHA Furniture Lists its Milan Fair Favourites 2014

RHA-FurnitureMilan’s International Furniture Fair launched new collections and provided us with fresh inspiration for this year’s projects.

Exciting new designs from Pedrali include Parenthesis, Log and Zippo. Along with a welcome addition to their award winning Ester armchair – this office version looks just as stunning on a 4-star base with casters.
RHA Furniture, Managing Director, said, “Pedrali was excellent as usual, especially the new bedside tables Parenthesis, another 1960’s design remade.”

Sancal launched a new chair inspired by the way a collar folds. Appropriately named Collar, the chair offers comfort and a very distinctive visual style.

Following the success of Sancal’s Tea dining chair, a matching bar stool has been added to the collection, and their equally successful Pion stools and tables have been extended to include a long dual-based dining table.

Another favourite is Frag’s new Sofy armchair with a well padded frame and thick leather upholstery, with walnut-coloured ash legs.

RHA Furniture, Managing Director, said, “Their Bak valet stand would make a very good solution for space saving in short stay hotels – stitched leather wrapped around a painted steel frame, with slightly padded leather-upholstered steel shelves.”

Driade displayed Lou Read by Philippe Starck, described in their own words as “an armchair/character, with an organic outline, perhaps anthropomorphic, conceived with leather directly fixed on a fiberglass skeleton. A tribute, to the great Carlo Mollino and to the Danish design of the 50s, led by Starck with impeccable mastery.”

Popular P9 designs, already featured in our previous newsletter, were available to see at the show. Pencil and Crown shaped tables, alongside Fado, Anthony and Landscape – already very popular new seating designs.
