“CERSAIE is one of the most important dates on the RAK Ceramics calendar as it is well-established international fair that acts as a vital gateway to the European ceramics market. Every year it is a must-attend forum for manufacturers, buyers and distributors for the ceramics industry,” said Abdallah Massaad, CEO, RAK Ceramics. “RAK Ceramics has an enviable reputation as being one of the industry’s most innovative producers of tiling and bathware products. We are aiming to build on this reputation when we display our latest ranges designed specifically with European audiences in mind at CERSAIE 2014,” he added.
RAK Ceramics participation at this year’s CERSAIE will see the company demonstrating its wares at two dedicated stands. The first is a 400 square metre stand for tiles that will include its Elegance range of boutique tile collections, as well as the new additions to its eco-friendly tile collections- Wood Art, Stone Art, Metallic and Cement collections. To be unveiled for the first time during the show will be RAK Ceramics’ latest Maximus Mega Slab Gres Porcellanato tile with majestic 1.5m x 3m dimensions. RAK Ceramics is the first company in the region to produce such large format tile using sophisticated Continua technology to manufacture tiles of any shape and size up-to 1.5m x 3m.
“The new Maximus Mega Slab range should more rightfully be described as being individual works of art, not tiling,” said Massaad. “This large format tile range is the fruit of the latest technology employed by RAK Ceramics, which has enabled the production of ground-breaking designs and concepts which were not previously available in the industry. We are delighted to showcase this product at Cersaie 2014 for the first time,” he added.
Further, RAK Ceramics will be using Cersaie Exhibition to launch new wall tiles in unique sizes of 20cm x 60cm and 33cm x 45cm and big slabs up to 20mm thickness.
RAK Ceramics will be having another stand of 224 square metre to display its exquisite range of bathware suites- Elena, Opulence, Resort, Metropolitan, Infinity, Oceana and Harmony. The company will also be showcasing its latest range of auxiliary bathware products such as the designer bath tubs and shower trays that add to the complete bathware suite collection. Additionally, Kludi RAK’s latest innovative water-saving faucets will be displayed at the stand.
