In the upcoming trade shows, a new area will be started for Nordic established designer named Twelveat the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair. At one place, twelve designers to display their products and what is typically just for their idiom and ideology.
Many have asked for a platform at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair where established designers can meet industry and create new partnerships. Therefore the organisers of Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair are starting Twelve. The new department will strengthen the perception of the fair more by established designers with a very high design level is collected under one roof, says Cecilia Nyberg, project manager for the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair.
Johanna Agerman Ross, editor Disegno Magazine, has been curator for 2014. According to her, it’s been a tough process where all applicants designers held a very high level. The area displays a variety with everything from product and furniture design to textiles. For framing of the Twelve stands TAF Architects who also is one of the exhibiting twelve.
