A New Area Introduced at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair for Designers

stockholm furniture fairIn the upcoming trade shows, a new area will be started for Nordic established designer named Twelveat the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair. At one place, twelve designers to display their products and what is typically just for their idiom and ideology.

 

Many have asked for a platform at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair where established designers can meet industry and create new partnerships. Therefore the organisers of Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair are starting Twelve. The new department will strengthen the perception of the fair more by established designers with a very high design level is collected under one roof, says Cecilia Nyberg, project manager for the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair.

 
Johanna Agerman Ross, editor Disegno Magazine, has been curator for 2014. According to her, it’s been a tough process where all applicants designers held a very high level. The area displays a variety with everything from product and furniture design to textiles. For framing of the Twelve stands TAF Architects who also is one of the exhibiting twelve.

TAF Architects from Stockholm, designer Lukas Dahlén from Gotland, Norwegian industrial designer Peter Opsvik, Lisa Hilland, from Malmo, Finnish Mika Tolvanen, Stockholmske designer and architect Jonas Wagell, Harri Koskinen from Finland, Stockholm Comforter Thomas Bernstrand, Stockholm-based design duo Color & Blanche, Malmö designer Louise Honorary Ström, Swedish Folkform, industrial designer Katja Pettersson of Stockholm.
