moloArchitecture & Design Film Festival + molo: ADFF Short Film Series molo will create a gallery-like screening space within Dwell on Design, showing highlights from the Architecture & Design Film Festival’s (ADFF) archives of short films. A calm place to rest the feet and stimulate the mind, the gallery space will screen fourteen of its best short films curated from the festival’s past 5 years of programming. The shorts are between 2 and 9 minutes and will be screened continually throughout the day. The series of festivals will be held from June 20- 22, 2014 at Los Angeles.

A wide range of inspiring and spirited films will be shown, including: a film about Frank Gehry’s obsession with creating a six pound chair; two young designers from Sweden who have created an invisible bicycle helmet; Zaha Hadid’s Burnham Centennial Pavilion; a small swim club in Brooklyn made from dumpsters; Jeanne Gangs South Pound structure; Coop Himmelb(l)au’s high school buildings in LA and many more.

Architecture for Humanity will also be creating space with softwall + softblock for the Architect Is In, a forum for free consultations with professional architects.
