Further confirmation of the relationship between Luceplan and its dealers, through the creation of particular and specific projects to support the point-of-sale in the promotion, enhancement and communication of products, supplying “custom” solutions in a productive relationship of synergy.
Luceplan has decided to devote this special project to Daniel Rybakken, who has collaborated with the company since 2012,with surprising results, thanks to his original minimalist approach to the design of very innovative and poetic lighting solutions. The great success of the Norwegian designer, refl ected in many prestigious international awards including the recent Hublot Design Prize and the Compasso d’Oro 2014, stems from his extraordinary ability to interpret light with rare sensitivity. His work exists on the border between art and design, concentrating mostly on the study of natural light and the attempt to artifi cially reproduce its effects.
A suspension lamp with an evocative character, which thanks to the dematerialization of the support elements and the volumetric breakdown takes on a theatrical, poetic character: not just functional quality, but also aesthetic and decorative refi nement.Composed of glass spheres at different heights, the lamp permits infi nite combinations, in a sort of “controlled freedom”: each sphere is connected to steel rods of different lengths, which are attached to the ceiling in a creative way, giving rise to always different light clusters.
