The project L.I.S.I. (Living Inspired by Sustainable Innovation) leaded by Mrs. Prof. Karin Stieldorf (TU Vienna) won first price at the Solar Decathlon of the U.S. departement of energy.
This award-winning program challenges collegiate teams to design, build, and operate solar-powered houses that are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and attractive. The winner of the competition is the team that best blends affordability, consumer appeal, and design excellence with optimal energy production and maximum efficiency including Team Austria.
Also the interior design arrose attraction: three students of the University of Applied Sciences Kuchl/AUT prepared themselves in our company for participation. They designed and created seat shells from organoid materials which offer soft shapes from various natural fibers.
