Brintons has announced Lindsey Lang as the winner of the Homes & Gardens Young Designer Award. The award ceremony was held at the British Museum and was sponsored by Brintons.
Lindsey Lang specializes in Kitchenware and interior accessories and draws her inspiration from her experience in colour theory, graphic design and illustration. Her aim is to create high-quality functional products that are truly original works of art for the home.
Don Coates, MD, Brintons Carpets Ltd comments, “We particularly liked the artisan feel of Lindsey’s products. Her tiles for example, combine crisp, modern colours with a traditional manufacturing process that Lindsey has helped to revive. It is that attention to detail, that focus on producing the best quality you can that we admired.”
Don continued to say, “We were thrilled to sponsor this year’s Young Designer category. Fresh ideas and insights, coupled with new innovations in technology are essential for our design led industry. We work with universities and art colleges around the world offering graduate placements and an apprenticeship scheme as we are passionate about playing our part in nurturing young talent.”
