The shower enclosure specialist said it has expanded by adding a new mezzanine floor to its warehouse. The expansion comes two years after the company moved to a three-acre site near the M5 in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, which consolidated four factory units into one two-storey building with mixed office and warehouse space at the 60,000sq ft premises.
Lakes Bathrooms sales and marketing director, Clive Organ said that the addition of new product lines in the past 12 months has led to a need for more space. “We already have 40 different product lines in stock, with the range of sizes making for over 160 variants,” he said. “We must now prepare to house stock not only to service this, but to support major product launches due to be unveiled in the coming months, in order to be ready for the demand that they create.”
