La-Z-Boy UK has appointed one of the drivers behind Servico, Pete McDonald, to support quality and aftersales efforts. His role will be to lead quality and improvement processes with manufacturing facilities and oversee the firm’s aftersales strategy.
Most recently, Pete was sales manager at national furniture repair network Ecomaster.
La-Z-Boy UK MD Keith Wilson says: “This is a critical position within La-Z-Boy UK, particularly as our Originals Collection is due in stores throughout the country within weeks. Pete is immensely experienced within this field and we are confident our stockists and end consumers will be impressed by the standards and attention to detail within our product quality and aftersales care.”
Pete says: “I am delighted to be joining La-Z-Boy at such a crucial and exciting time for the business in this country. Alongside ensuring consistent quality and carefully structuring our aftersales provision, one of my main focuses will be continuous improvements in supply chain and manufacturing, to ensure we always aim to be ahead of the field when it comes to reputation and reliability.”
