La Cornue Showcases Cooking Islands This Year at iSaloni 2014

9This year, La Cornue has extended its offer of cooking islands, not only in the Château range, but also in the more accessible La Cornue 1908 range, and of the very spectacular and innovative induction cooking table, La Cornue W. by Wilmotte.

The Château remains the finest example of La Cornue’s culinary concepts. To create the island, the Château chosen will be accompanied by metal Château elements, whose colour and finish match the cooking range, or by Mémoire elements, in natural or painted wood. Many different compositions are possible: superb spice drawers here and there with a work top and basin, or even a counter-top where you can eat.

The island proposals including the La Cornue 1908 model are more compact, aimed at a more urban clientele. The La Cornue 1908 offers storage drawers around the cooking range and the cooking table is extended by a stainless steel counter. The complementary elements in natural or painted wood in a large range of colours perfectly matches the finishes of La Cornue 1908.

The La Cornue W. by Wilmotte island concept is based on the architecture specific to this innovative line. The long induction table is extended with a magnificent walnut dining table at the other side, with legs in enamelled steel. Four people can sit in front of the chef in action. A version with a high table surrounds the induction table like a counter on three sides. In this version, the chef literally becomes the centre of attraction.

These three versions were presented at the Milan Eurocucina trade fair in April 2014.
