KOBE Introduces Student Award

untitled-1_1 copyKobe- the luxury fabric specialist, sponsored the upholstery and soft furnishings student awards at the Wendy Shorter Interiors Training Centre in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.

 

Students can get the opportunity to compete in three different competitions to showcase their talents as well as design creativity and excellence in traditional and modern upholstery skills.

 

The wining students included Regis Sheval, who won the stage three advance craft upholstery competition. Kobe will be supporting Regis with a variety of activities including marketing and concept books.

 

David Harris, MD, says: “I would like to congratulate all the students at the training centre and am pleased to be able to recognise all their hard work and commitment shown to their craft. We would also like to thank Wendy and her team for all their support and dedication and for passing on their invaluable skills and enthusiasm.”

 

Harriet Page and Darryl Perry were both winners of the stage two traditional upholstery competition and were awarded a selection of Kobe fabric to support their stage three course work. Frances Mitchell won the soft furnishings competition and was also awarded a selection of Kobe fabric.
