Leading bed and upholstery manufacturers such as Ultra Furniture, Buoyant, Furnico and a host of other big brands are set to confirm Hall 5 as a major destination point at the 2017 January Furniture Show, which is scheduled for January 22 to 25, at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
With a 20% increase in space and a confirmed 99% of rebookings, Hall 5 will offer its strongest line up of commercial big hitters for years. Stephen Richards, director of the January Furniture Show, said, “Hall 5 is set to be the destination hall for serious buyers – it will be the one hall that no serious upholstery or bed buyer can afford to miss. Some exhibitors have moved into the hall from elsewhere so they can be part of this great line-up including World Furniture, New Trend, Uber Home and Dormeo.”
As well as Ultra – the latest company to rebook for Hall 5 – other returning exhibitors include Buoyant who will have the biggest stand at the show, Lebus, Serene, Vogue and GFA who have both taken expanded space, Exclusive, Kingstown, Furmanac, Breasley Beds and Sherborne.
Stephen happily adds, “There has been a huge increase in demand for space for the 2017 event so the calibre of companies exhibiting is very high. As organisers, it’s allowed us to carefully select who exhibits and we have introduced a ‘no shell scheme’ over 50m rule. We are also monitoring presentation and all exhibitors will have to submit stand plans for approval before the show.”
Hall 5 will also host an exclusive Platinum Club arrivals lounge with its own entrance.
Glenn Aston, MD of Ultra Furniture, said, “Ultra Furniture returned to JFS in January 2015 after a lengthy absence and we were pleased with the orders taken. In January 2016 Ultra moved to Hall 5 and the results were fantastic. We are delighted that we have been able to secure the same space for January 2017 where will have some additional models to add to our exciting range.”
