iSaloni witnesses a Magnificient Opening

The 53^rd edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile opened its gates today to the thousands of design lovers across the globe, along with the biennial EuroCucina and International Bathroom Exhibition. Some 2,400 exhibitors are expected, bringing all the very latest furnishing solutions to Milan. There is also be a major cultural event at the Milan Fairgrounds, Rho  involving eight leading international architects.

The international benchmark showcase for people who want to cook, eat and furnish stylishly, EuroCucina is  presenting the very best in kitchen design at its 20^th edition at the Rho Milan Fairgrounds. The leading showcase for domestic technological innovation is once again back in its sixth edition, bringing with it the most evolved and transformational built-in domestic appliances and cooker hoods. In pavilions 9-11, in synergy with EuroCucina, at the Rho Milan Fairgrounds.

The International Bathroom Exhibition is back in iSaloni with an even greater and more extensive range of goods. This year for the first time pavilions 22 and 24 is entirely given over to the Italian and foreign companies in the vanguard of the sector.

Dedicated to young designers under 35 as a springboard into the world of design, the SaloneSatellite returns to the Salone del Mobile with a new address within the Milan Fairgrounds, Rho. As always, it is open to the general public for all six days of the Salone, and admission is free.

In addition, the SaloneSatellite Award  arrives at its 5th edition, to promote contact between designers under 35 and the exhibiting companies, particularly those of the biennial shows that run concurrently with the Salone del Mobile – specifically for this edition, EuroCucina and the International Bathroom Exhibition.

Conceived as a cultural accompaniment to the Salone del Mobile, a prestigious exhibition featuring leading international architects, “Where Architects Live,” is  held in pavilion 9 at the Rho Milan Fairgrounds.
