2014 dates for Ireland’s only Furniture & Interiors Trade fair sector are now set for October 5th-7th at the RDS Dublin. The Show organisers have been encouraged by improved buyer sentiment, new accounts logged and a 15% lift in trade visitors in 2013 when similar October dates were first launched. These autumn dates allow trade buyers a preview of product ranges in advance of Christmas and the UK Shows in spring, at a more optimal time cash flow-wise.
The trade event also returns to the RDS Main hall complex in response to positive feedback in 2013. The ground floor will provide more floor-plan space for anchor tenants who have already begun rebooking for 2014. More space will be available in the balcony area for the ever-popular New Design Ireland feature space subsidizing Irish start-up companies.
The organisers are also launching Ireland’s first online space for the Irish Interiors community on LinkedIn via new Group – “Interiors Ireland”. It will gather stakeholders in the Irish Interiors sector so as to continue the exchange ideas, promotions and news throughout the year. Other changes include content rich updates via direct email for both show visitors and exhibitors that include helpful tips on topics like E-commerce, Displays and Pinterest.
