The pavilions of the Kiev’s International Exhibition Center was hosted from February 20 to 23, 2013, INTERIOR MEBEL, the International Furniture, Lighting and Decor Exhibition. The common satisfaction expressed by the exhibitors proved that the investments and efforts made are going in the right direction.
This year, the Ambassador Fabrizio Romano – Italian Embassy in Kiev – and Carlo Maria Sangalli – President of Milan’s Chamber of Commerce – participated at the opening ceremony, giving prestige and recognition to INTERIOR MEBEL as hub to develop business relationships between Italy and Ukraine.
During 2013’s edition, have been organised several initiatives related to the world of design and culture, realised in collaboration with designers and local and international institutions.
During INTERIOR MEBEL, Carlo Forcolini and Guido Racinelli gave two master classes dedicated to design and innovation. Great success was achieved by the designer and decorator Fabrizio Cocchi, at his second participation at INTERIOR MEBEL. The special event Mise en Table, dedicated to table setting has been really appreciated by private and professional visitors, thanks to the stunning and eclectic style of Fabrizio Cocchi. Finally, the Gala Concert, held on the 20 of February at the National Opera of Ukraine, confirmed the importance of the strategic partnership between culture and business. The concert, supported by INTERIOR MEBEL and IntesaSanPaolo, has been conceived and devolved by the Italian Embassy in Kiev, the Italian Institute of Culture in Kiev and the Milan’s Accademia Teatro alla Scala.
INTERIOR MEBEL will be back next year from February 19 to 22, 2014.
