Index International Design Exhibition Showcased Best Of Designs

Index Logo1This is the 24th edition of the prestigious Index International Design Exhibition, which is an inspirational showcase of the international interiors and design industry have to offer buyers from the Gulf/MENA regions. BCFA have taken a British Group to this show since its inception.

 

The 2013 event hosted over 777 exhibitors from 46 countries, including 21 prestigious country pavilions. Visitor attendance in 2013 was over 20,922 trade visitors and industry professionals (including approx 4,599 VIP visitors) from 105 countries. Dubai World Expo 2020 will mean a Dubai Government spend of $8.8bn on construction and fit out projects. INDEX is a one-stop sourcing event for the global design and interiors industry.

 

With an estimated $74.9 billion of GCC construction products due to complete by the end of this year, market demand for interior and exterior design and fit-out products in 2014 is expected to rise by 8% to $9.1 billion.

 

BRITISH PRESENCE:

•    Index is sectorised into different halls at the Dubai World Trade Centre ¬ so that targeted show sectors can connect the right products with the right suppliers:

UK companies can request an option of space via BCFA in whichever hall/product sector is most suitable including a highly visual designed/UK branded British Pavilion in the Furniture & Furnishings Hall 4.  We will facilitate the best option possible in discussion with you and raise contracts.

 

There are 30 UKTI TAP grants available for this show via BCFA. These will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The value of the grant is £2,500 with £3,000 for first time exhibitors. A grant form is available for download here with the accompanying UKTI Terms and Conditions which apply. The completed form must be completed, scanned and emailed back to BCFA for action. The grant is payable post show once BCFA have confirmed that you have spent up to the value of the grant on stand space, shell costs, extras towards the stand (for example display items hire, internet etc), freight or excess baggage etc. Flights and accommodation are not eligible costs.
