Hansgrohe, Inc., a leading manufacturer of kitchen and bath products and a U.S. based, wholly-owned subsidiary of Hansgrohe SE, is proud to announce it has appointed Erik Christensen as President/GM, effective April 7. Formerly a Vice President at Armstrong World Industries, Christensen comes equipped with more than 25 years of experience in the building products and flooring industries. Christensen has a proven track record in logistics, operations and sales, including successful establishment of distribution networks in foreign markets and development of strategic plans based on region specific demand. His diverse range of expertise and exemplary performance will serve him well in his new role at Hansgrohe as he looks to build on the company’s record growth in 2013, while overseeing a talented team of 250 employees and a world-class manufacturing facility in Alpharetta, GA.

We cast a wide net and very carefully reviewed each candidate to ensure that we found just the right person to guide our US team. Christensen’s strong work ethic along with his industry experience and accomplishments in the commercial and residential markets made him stand out from the rest.”
Christensen comes to Hansgrohe having worked with some of the most recognized manufacturers in the building products sector. From 1987 to 1999, Christensen worked with Armstrong World Industries in various capacities. From 1999 until 2008, he assumed leadership roles at Closetmaid, Shaw Industries and Edge Flooring. In 2008, Christensen returned to Armstrong World Industries and quickly moved up the ranks to Vice President, Sales, Residential Floor Products East, where he was responsible for driving the strong performance of the division.
