GrokGrok is participating  this year’s Light + Building trade show, from 18 to 23 March in Frankfurt, where the brand’s unique lighting innovations, designed to illuminate large architectural spaces, will come under the spotlight.

Victoria Garriga, architect at the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum in Bilbao, designed the trade show stand, D51 in Hall 1.1 of Messe Frankfurt.

Grok will present its state-of-the-art luminaires at the flagship trade fair to showcase designs that are the result of close collaborations with prestigious designers such as Ramon Benedito, Jean Louis Iratzoki, Ander Lizaso, Francesc Vilaró and Céline Wright.

Highlights of Grok’s new collections, which will be presented at the trade fair, include Cocktail, a portable light designed by Francesc Vilaró, that combines an original and contemporary design with advanced technology. Available in black or white, its adjustable head can be used to aim the light to accentuate an object or space. Its four adjustment levels also help to create an optimum ambience.

The ilargi collection, designed by Jean Louis Iratzoki and Ander Lizaso in collaboration with Grok, will also be on display. Combining the warmth of wood with opal glass, it produces a soft, diluted light to create a natural ambience in a particular area. The traditional, hand blown, Polish glass ball comes in different sizes.

Lastly, Circular, a light by Benedito Design, takes technology and design to a new level. The model offers great flexibility, allowing a choice of sizes, finishes, installations and adjustability. Its circular extruded aluminium frames can be installed as an individual hanging light or combined to produce a chandelier, to give it a spectacular presence that can transform large architectural spaces.
