Based on a sample of parental feedback on Facebook in November 2013, 51% of respondents confirmed that their child’s sleep pattern is affected ‘a lot’ by the clocks going back or forward, with most saying it took a week or more to adjust.
For both children and parents alike a consistent sleep pattern is essential for general family wellbeing.  The Gro-clock offers a simple and fun solution for families, allowing parents to pre-set the time at which toddlers understand it is the right time to get out of bed. The stars keep them company all night and when the sun comes up on the clock they know it is OK to get up and go see mum and dad.

 

When asked how a lack of sleep impacts on the family in real terms, 34% of respondents highlighted ‘grumpy toddlers’ and 39% indicated ‘tired parents’ as well as secondary effects such as clumsiness and less time to cook or pre-prepare food.
