logo-firaExperts from the UK’s leading furniture care and repair specialist think that it can and are so confident in their work that they will be at Interiors 2014 challenging you to find their repair.

“If an item of furniture has suffered minor damage, sometimes in transit or in the warehouse, more often than not it can be repaired in the home. Many people assume that a repair will show and it won’t feel like the brand new item they bought, but we are so confident in our repairs that we are challenging visitors to Interiors 2014 to watch us give live demonstrations of furniture repair and see the results with their own eyes.” said Richard Whitbread, Technician Manager for FIRA Service Technicians.

FIRA Service Technicians (FST) is backed by the authority, expertise and resources of FIRA International, the world-leading furniture technology centre. After 60 years, FIRA’s brand values of independence, integrity and expertise are well-respected and FST is the only after-sales organisation with access to FIRA’s extensive resources.

Richard continued: “The after-care and repair service we provide to retailers involves an experienced FIRA technician making a visit to the home to make an assessment of the issue and repair it, if possible. This allows our clients to remedy the situation quickly and with minimal inconvenience to the customer. Our flexible, easy-to-use, service solutions are designed to fit with a company’s commercial needs. If you are visiting Interiors 2014, then why not come and see us and find out more?”

Alongside the after-sales care and repair service, FST offers assistance with other issues encountered, such as when a customer refuses to accept delivery of a product and it is returned to the warehouse. The Warehouse Inspection Service provides you with an experienced FIRA technician visiting the distribution centre and providing an independent fault assessment of the product repairing if required.

Other services include a flat-packed product assembly service, special projects, such as in-store remedial works to displays and incoming goods AQL (Accepted Quality Level) inspections.
