The Furniture Makers’ Company Awarded Bawn Flooring

The furniture makers companyThe Furniture Makers’ Company presented an award to Nigel Bawn, of Bawn Flooring, Huddersfield, at the National B&Q Homefit Services Partner Day, held at the B&Q Distribution Centre in Worksop.

 
The award was presented to Nigel for his Exceptional Levels of Customer Experience, as well as a commendation from the B&Q Homefit Project Centre Team for his high standards of workmanship.

 

Fiona Brookes, B&Q Homefit National Customer Manager and Jonny Westbrooke, Chief Executive and Clerk of The Furniture Makers’ Company presented Nigel with his certificate at the B&Q Homefit vendor partner day. Jonny Westbrooke commented, “It was a pleasure to present the award to Nigel, a Quick-Step Master Installer. Clearly he went above and beyond the usual levels of customer service, exceeding the expectations of B&Q Homefit, as well as the customers.”

 

Nigel commented, “I was delighted to receive this award and was extremely proud when I heard I had won it. It was nice for Bawn Flooring to receive recognition from B&Q Homefit. I qualified as a Master Installer in May 2012 and joined the B&Q Homefit team in January 2013 which has provided my business with a massive opportunity to expand. It’s fantastic to get recognition from B&Q Homefit and I look forward to progressing with the team”.

 

The award from B&Q Homefit celebrates not only the quality of Nigel’s first-rate workmanship as a Master Installer, but also his outstanding service and friendly, caring manner when dealing with both clients and colleagues.

 

Paul Carroll, B&Q Homefit Business Development Manager explains, “Nigel received this Certificate of Excellence due to numerous positive customer responses on his high standards of workmanship, and his helpful outlook and desire to put his customers at the heart of what he does. The B&Q Homefit team also nominated Nigel for his levels of internal service, again due to his helpful nature and team spirit.

 

Launched in May 2013, B&Q Homefit is designed to provide customers with an easy solution to addressing DIY tasks that they either can’t, or shouldn’t, undertake themselves, by providing access to fully qualified and vetted local tradesmen at pre-agreed fixed prices and a B&Q Homefit central point of contact to project-manage each job.
