Flötotto’s newest addition in the PRO chair collection is the inviting PRO armchair, which stands to conquer new territory in its range of use. The plastic shell includes integrated armrests which surround the person using the chair and guarantee a high level of comfort. The armchair will initially be offered in two different versions: a newly designed, four-legged wooden base or a four-legged aluminium base.
The new wooden option in massive oak will be available as of now for all other PRO models. Also, there are two further additions to the collection: Firstly, there will be a new traverse solution with a wooden frame that is there to bring furniture where it is needed – to museums, agencies, offices, shops, waiting areas of public offices or medical practices. Secondly, the Westphalian family company will be offering the chair as of immediately with a fully padded seat.
What began in 2012 as an innovative school furniture program has developed into a sophisticated collection offering a whole variety of finishes and bases. The most distinctive feature of the chair collection developed by Konstantin Grcic remains the flexible backrest with its pronounced S-form. The sweeping form offers freedom of movement and added comfort for the back and pelvic area. At the same time, its three-dimensional form lends the seat its stability and allows for the plastic shell to be produced without fibreglass.
