On the 18th March FIRA International will be hosting a kitchen manufacturer’s forum. The main focus of the meeting will be to discuss potential revisions of key standards for kitchen furniture; BS 6222-2 Domestic kitchen equipment. Fitted kitchen units, peninsular units, island units and breakfast bars.

BS EN 14749 Domestic and kitchen storage units and worktops. Safety requirements and test method
ISO 7170 Furniture. Storage units. Determination of strength and durability
