The award-winning BRIXX modular system, DEDON’s first fully upholstered collection, is now more versatile, functional and luxuriously comfortable than ever. Four new modules — all with fixed backrests — have been added to the collection’s original lineup of three backless sofa modules, offering unlimited possibilities for configuring BRIXX to any setting, outdoors or in.
Like the original BRIXX pieces, the new fixed-backrest modules are available in three sizes — small, medium and large. There’s also another module featuring a corner backrest that’s perfect for creating cozy, enclosed lounge spaces. All seven modules in the BRIXX system can be combined effortlessly to construct sofa islands, archipelagos or more traditional sofa configurations.
BRIXX was conceived by Lorenza Bozzoli, an accomplished fashion designer before she turned to furniture. The collection draws not only her own exceptional tailoring skills but also on those of the master Italian upholsters with whom she collaborated so closely on this project. The result of their efforts is a modular system as sophisticated as it is simple, as natural as it is refined.
Bozzoli says, “With the addition of the fixed, upholstered backrest, BRIXX truly becomes a complete project. The fix backrest gives the possibility of more formal seating, while the original, optional pillow backrests allow one to change one’s position at will. Together, the two solutions confer a dynamic appearance while satisfying a range of seating needs in a single system.”
