Covet House executes another award winning project

Designed by Okasana Salberg-Vachnadze from the prestigious 02 Design Moscow Studio created this residential project that was awarded the international property award in the interior design apartments category.

The designer created a monochrome colour palette, but then they asked to add a little colour. This is how this interior with a striking colour palette, stylish furniture, and impressive contemporary artwork came to life.

The neoclassical style and the colour white served as the starting point of this interior. White cornice mouldings create a beautiful contrast with colourful modern furniture and add a certain cultural context: such an interior might have been found in any European capital. The apartment’s planning is simple and logical: it consists of three rooms with a big living room and a space that combines the kitchen with the dining room, and two bedrooms — master bedroom and the daughter’s bedroom.

This apartment’s wall and ceiling moldings and herringbone parquet flooring are inspired by the Paris impressions. The living area is the equally masterful dining room. A perfect symbiosis of styles and colours, the single space is divided into two areas by a console with art deco table lamps. Also, a convenient ergonomic kitchen with a kitchen-island is sylistically and coloured as neutral. It is deliberately not supposed to stand their in an open plan living room/dining room/kitchen area. Beside these, the master bedroom, junior room and bathroom are designed with a deliberate luxury with a aesthetic touch.
