Award-winning UK carpet manufacturer Cormar Carpets’ extension at its Ramsbottom-based Holme Mill site is more than half way complete and is set to meet the current July completion deadline.
The concrete flooring has now been laid, leaving two critical construction timelines outstanding – the roof sprinklers mid June and the decker installation at the end of June, plus there is still a lot of work to do for both contractors and Cormar before they can drive through from the existing building.
Paul Murphy, Cormar Carpet’s Production Manager said, “We are very much looking forward to the opening of the building. The space availability created at Holme Mill will have significant benefits for the business, enabling us improve stock availability and on time delivery, ahead of the traditional Autumn peak.”
