China furniture show offer to UK furniture companies

Published on : Tuesday, November 12, 2013

A furniture exhibition in China is offering UK furniture companies an opportunity to exhibit their products to a rapidly growing market. Available to members of the Furniture Industry Research Association, via the British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM), the offer aims enable more UK businesses to be represented at the show and encourage industry links between the two countries.
Established sixty four years ago, the Furniture Industry Research Association was set by the industry for the industry. It provides invaluable technical support to the entire furniture supply chain and funds projects for the benefit of the industry.

The Shenzhen Furniture Association (SZFA), organiser of the Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition (SIFE), has put together a package which includes favourable rates for advertising, exhibition space, translation services, the administration of visas and event tickets, hotel accommodation, transport for exhibitors and containers for the shipping of products. The offer is for a limited time only as interested parties are required to contact the BFM within the next two weeks to indicate their intention to sign up.

The SZFA explains the thinking behind the show offer: “We understand that exhibiting on the other side of the world, in a country with a lot of unknowns, represents a significant challenge. We have taken some time to think this process through from the UK’s point of view and have created a straight forward, transparent pricing structure that is designed to make life easier.”
