British Gypsum, the UK’s leading manufacturer of interior lining systems, has launched an innovative magnetic plaster, which provides a smooth, high quality surface creating an interactive wall that attracts magnets, ideal for home, as well as working environments.
Following a significant trial period with homeowners and professional installers, Thistle Magnetic Plaster is now available for stocking by merchants nationwide.
Fiona Bashford, head of product marketing at British Gypsum, explains: “Within the residential market, there’s a real need for products and systems which allow the living spaces to be used in a more flexible way.
“By changing walls from simple, inactive space dividers into interactive, creative surfaces, it adds value to a space and as a result it has already received huge interest from plasterers, housebuilders and consumers up and down the UK.”
Thistle Magnetic Plaster, which requires a minimum thickness of 3mm, is applied in the same way as standard British Gypsum Thistle Plasters and can be decorated without any loss of magnetic effect.
