Leading kitchen, bedroom & bathroom design software specialist, ArtiCAD, has extended its long-standing relationship with the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) in the UK by becoming an Affiliate Member and part of The Voice of the Bathroom Industry.
As an Affiliate Member, ArtiCAD is now able to participate in many of the industry meetings supported by the Association, as well as having access via the BMA to a vast network of manufacturers, trade bodies, government and the EU Commission. This enables ArtiCAD to become more involved in broader bathroom industry initiatives to help support the industry’s future growth.
Yvonne Orgill, Chief Executive of the BMA: “The BMA is delighted to have ArtiCAD on board. ArtiCAD will enhance the existing membership and the Association will be able to draw upon the company’s particular skills to broaden its activities to the benefit of all. Undoubtedly, ArtiCAD will benefit from the many networking opportunities for which the BMA is so well-renowned.”
ArtiCAD also has the opportunity to participate in the growth of the Bathroom Academy and together with the BMA, is planning to roll out a series of lively and hands-on training workshops designed to present best practice technical and design guidance for manufacturers, retailers and installers.
Daniel Allerton, group sales director of ArtiCAD: “We’ve always supported the BMA’s Bathroom Academy and this new initiative allows us to get directly involved in helping the BMA to deliver an exceptional training programme that will benefit everyone in the business and their customers.” The series of workshops is set to roll out from January 2014.
The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) is the trade association for bathroom manufacturers operating in the UK. It represents, through its technical, marketing and management committees, the interests of over 60 major bathroom manufacturing groups and affiliate members, with 100 well-known brands in the market place. The manufacturing base directly employs 10,000+ people at over 60 sites in the UK.
