Finnish furniture brand Artek is going to be present at the Stockholm Furniture Fair from February 9–13, 2016. They will exhibit the new Kaari Collection and shed new light on Finnish master Ilmari Tapiovaara’s design classics.

The first collaboration between Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and the Finnish design company, The Kaari Collection was launched by Artek at this year’s imm Cologne. Based on a simple, yet intelligent component, the Kaari Collection includes rectangular and round tables in two sizes as well as a desk, a wall console, a small round shelf, and larger shelves. The collection is now available on the market.

In addition to the Kaari Collection, Artek is also going to present the multi-purpose Domus Chairs and the elegant Kiki Collection – two design classics by the Finnish designer and interior architect Ilmari Tapiovaara.

Celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2016, the award-winning Domus Chair was designed in 1946. The Domus Chair and Lounge Chair have been part of the Artek collection since 2010. At the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2016, Artek introduces Domus in a range of new leather upholstery colours.

The Kiki Collection, designed in 1960 for both public and private use, is based on a metal tube with an oval cross section. The modular, right-angled designs make it easy to combine the various pieces with each other. Today, the Kiki Collection comprises of sofas, benches, a lounge chair and side tables. At the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Artek presents the entire collection in a wide range of fabrics, demonstrating the visual generosity and versatility of the products.
