aihs-logoMore than 100 international brands from 20 countries will be participating at the Arabian International Home Show (AIHS), scheduled to take place from March 8–10 at the Conrad Hotel Dubai. The event will position Dubai as a key destination for luxury interior design best practice and provide a valuable forum for regional developers and architects to view the latest ideas and technologies from around the globe.

Interior design trends in the Middle East such as sustainability, technological influences, and holistic health will be discussed at the Design Studio, a 3-day certified professional design conference that will run alongside AIHS. Speakers from the National Design Academy and the Association of Professional Interior Designers, as well as many other professionals of international acclaim, will share their views on what is driving local design purchases and what it takes to succeed locally as a designer.

Show director Daksha Patel said, “One trend everyone is talking about is sustainability and how that can be brought into the interior design field. We see that in our research with the leaders speaking at Design Studio, and also with our exhibitors.”

Top speakers have come from as far as the UK, Slovakia, Lebanon and Italy to join Design Studio. It is a unique group of internationally and locally based talents, talking about what it takes to grow a design business.

The local design field of the UAE is fast maturing to meet the demand for design project management and create designs that take client lifestyles into account early in the planning. Design Studio at the Arabian International Home Show will feature several sessions about how to best support the industry.
