Ambiente 2018 will be the first event to offer visitors and exhibitors the unique feature of a digital Business Matchmaking Program in English and German – and, in fact, before the event has even started. Manufacturers and retailers can save specific search parameters to the web portal, whereupon the program brings the relevant parties together.
Nicolette Naumann, Divisional Manager for Ambiente, says, “Making the right contacts and finding new visitors or exhibitors has become a central issue for anyone coming to the trade fair. We are now a digital step ahead of this trend, offering our exhibitors and visitors an uncommon service – the Business Matchmaking Program – which gives them major added value, even during the run-up to Ambiente.”
Business Matchmaking enables visitors and exhibitors to network before Ambiente itself and to make appointments for the event from February 9 to 13, 2018. Anyone with an Ambiente ticket is automatically included in the Business Matchmaking Program and can log in with their trade fair access details which they already have at this stage. All other retailers and buyers can register for the program in advance and free of charge. The more narrowly a user defines their interests, the more the program will recommend suitable, attractive and new contacts.
The focus of business matchmaking is clearly on service. Visitors wanting to find specific companies can do so conveniently through a filter function and then put suitable notes in their user profiles. They can also contact exhibitors directly and make appointments with them. Anyone who finds this too time-consuming is welcome to contact the fair organiser’s specialists. If requested, this team will enter the user’s relevant data on the online portal. Based on these suggestions, suitable appointments are then worked out for Ambiente. Without spending much time, visitors and exhibitors now have good opportunities to obtain new business and launch new projects.
