ALPI presents new collections of woods, formulated thanks to expertise and a passion for aesthetic research on wooden materials, redefining the intrinsic characteristics and offering various new materic effects inspired both by the world of nature, with its absolutely evocative forms and colours, and by the world of design par excellence, embodied by graphic solutions of great originality and visual impact.
The intriguing and emotional path of discovery of new expressive languages has been entrusted to three designers, Piero Lissoni, The Campana Brothers and Kengo Kuma, who have focused on the creation of materials that balance natural impressions and graphic patterns, in keeping with their own inclinations.
Three different approaches ranging from the reproduction of the colours, grain and characteristics of natural woods to the invention of decorative and graphic effects, to formulate a unique and original concept in which different atmospheres can coexist: evocative, warm and tactile in the reproductions of wood, innovative, visual and dynamic in the graphic designs.
ALPI at Milan Design Week 2017
The story of the expressive and aesthetic languages of ALPI woods moves forward thanks to exclusive collaborations and projects, in addition to display at the showroom, as concrete evidence of the company’s extensive culture of design and industrial excellence.
The versatility and vast range of ALPI woods are illustrated through projects connected with two different dimensions, the one related to product design and the other to set-up projects, where ideas, culture and materials encounter the values and requirements of important companies and designers in the sector.
An excellent opportunity of visibility, emphasizing the multiple applications of ALPI woods, which are able to offer not only a vast, constantly growing catalogue, but also custom creations at the service of the world of design, with all the guarantees of an industrial product with a tailor-made character.
