Nominations are now open for the NSW Training Awards to recognise achievements in the Vocational and Educational Sector.
Winners in aligned catergories will then go on to represent their states in the Australian Training Awards to be held later in the year.
FIAA believes this is an excellent opportunity to promote the industry by recognising the hard work and dedication provided by both our Trainees and Apprentices in their chosen fields, as well the commitment to training and development by our employers and their staff.
The Awards sectors are as follows:
• Apprentice and Trainee of the Year
• Vocational Student of the Year
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year
• School Based Apprentice/Trainee of the Year
• VET in Schools Student of the Year (this is a NSW only Award)
• VET Trainer / Teacher Award
• Large & Small Employer Award
• Industry Collaboration Award
• Large & Small Registered Training Providers Awards
The Furnishing Industry Association of Australia will be supporting nominations from both Regional NSW and Sydney Metropolitan areas for the NSW Awards.
