100% Design Attracted a Great Deal Of Names This Time

100_logo1 copyTalks with 100% Design once again attracted some of the world’s most notable design names Philippe Starck, Jaime Hayon, Ross Lovegrove and Barber Osgerby among a host of other design talents.

 

 

The stunning entrance tunnel created by Studio Design UK featured some top material suppliers including: KAZA Concrete, Havwoods, Blackburn Metals, Rimex Metals, Formica, Stone Interiors, Eley Kishimoto, Timorous Beasties and OIKOS.

 

This year’s Interiors hub was a thrive of activity with a range of workshops and presentations for all ages. The curators Mette collaborated with a host of studios to bring the space to life: Shape Studio, OpenDesk, Hirsch&Mann, Maker Library Network, BeatWoven, Florrie+Bill, Makers Cafe, Bee Very Creative, RepRapPro, Heal’s Discovers, OIKOS, 3Doodler and Shapeways.

 

Peroni, Campari and Champagne Jacquart were in full flow at the 100% Design Late Night in association with Icon Magazine, accompanied by music from the talented Gary Powell (The Libertines) and The House of Peroni.

 

Visitors were greeted by the sparkling ICE Chandelier by designer Daniel Libeskind for Lasvit before entering the 60 metre tunnel to the heart of the show. Our central bar sponsor OIKOS collaborated with Studio Design UK to produce a stunning shard installation for the Central Bar.

 

The latest product showcases were on display from across Interiors, Workplace, Kitchens & Bathrooms sponsored by Turkishceramics, Eco, Design & Build sponsored by Armourcoat, Emerging Brands and International Pavilions.

 

NBBJ’s imposing structure iAlter reacted to the activity on the hub by impressively transforming in shape and structure. In Eco, Design & Build sponsored by Armourcoat, Thomas.Matthews designed a space for SCIN Gallery to promote the latest in material trends.
