Where lays the strength of Polish furniture? What is the USP of the brand?
The strenght of Polish furniture industry is a unique combination of pragmatism and crafts. Polish furniture industry ‘grew up’ in a tradition of craft practice. Craftsmen always produced furniture that suits client’s need. Furniture has never been exaggerated in a form, but it’s always taking into account the taste and financial abilities.

Explain the concept of modern office. What according to you made the drastic change in the visualization of a workplace from a formal corporate look to a casual trendy avatar?
A modern office is not a place you go to, it is what you do. The organization of an office is based on need rather than the control what you do. The new architecture of the office is a complex function of many different work situations, in order to support changing goals and visions. Ergonomical aspects becomes more important, mainly because higher cost for CBD offices, means less office space for everyone…

What are the themes of the interior of the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport and where has it drawn its inspiration from?

A Swiss by birth, Philippe Bestenheider earned a degree in Architecture from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. With experience of working in studios both in Switzerland and the US, he obtained a Masters degree in industrial design from the Domus Academy in Milan in 2000. He has later became a workshop-tutor with Alessi and Ikea. He is now working for Moroso, Pallucco and Nilufar Gallery.

Based in Stockholm, Jonas Wagell is a Swedish architect and designer whose highly-praised work carries his name to as far as China and North America. Trained in graphics and print, Wagell learned about interior design and architecture from Konstfack in Stockholm. He founded his own design studio JWDA in 2008. The studio’s work is known for simplistic playfulness and clever compact living.
Over the years, Jonas Wagell has won many awards and accolades for the inspiring work that he creates. The designer himself describes his work as “clean and simplistic”. He collaborates regularly with many well-known brands such as MENU, Normann Copenhagen, From The Bay, Zaozuo and the list goes on.
